Director’s Note:
Welcome to the 2020 Annual Ice Bowl Invitational Bowling Tournament. I hope you plan to visit us in February to celebrate our 26th anniversary. This year we are making some exciting changes that we hope will improve the bowler experience but also help improve Ice Bowls operations.
Entry Fee:
Like last year, all entries received and paid by January 31, 2020 will remain $120. Entries received and paid on and after February 1, 2020 will increase to $140. The breakdown for the entry fee is as follows:
Host Hotel & Awards Party:
Ice Bowl is all about the party!
We plan to share the details very soon. Stay tuned....
9-Pin No Tap Tournament:
For 2020, all bowlers competing in the 9-Pin No Tap tournament will start at the same time Friday night (7:00 p.m.). The tournament will be limited to 144 bowlers. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Cost will remain $25 for pre-registration and $30 at the door. Pre-registration will be an option on our online registration form.
9-Pin No Tap Payout will be Friday night. You no longer have to wait until Sunday for your cash! Here is a chance to earn a little extra money to spend tournament weekend!
Additional Changes:
During your online registration, you will now be able to pre-purchase our 500 -raffle ticket bundle for $85. That’s a $15 savings. By purchasing online, your raffle tickets will be waiting for you at check-in. You can still purchase the 500-ticket bundle for $100 tournament weekend.
Finally, to accommodate the new 9-Pin No Tap format we will be eliminating the Friday evening team squad. This means Ice Bowl will be limited to 72 teams and 288 bowlers. We will also limit our singles and doubles squads to 144 bowlers (4 to a lane) this year.
I would like to personally thank you for your continued support. We’ve tried to make changes that minimize the entry fee increase as much as possible while still delivering the tournament experience you have come to enjoy year after year.
Sincerely,
Kat Hockett
